Aqsis 1.5, our current development release, is now available to Ubuntu users though Launchpad.

Instructions on how to add this repository to your system are also provided, allowing automated/simplified notification on package updates and new versions.

Karmic Problem

Hi!! Work perfectly on Jaunty, but on Karmic aqsis try to find the config file on /usr/etc/aqsis and the file is located on /etc/aqsis/aqsis

To mak it work I make /usr/etc/ dir and linked aqsis folder.

The Karmic issue is now resolved, just update your package from our Launchpad page and all should be fine.

... alternatively you can obtain the Aqsis 1.6.0 packages from our download section.

The Aqsis Rendering System consists of a set of libraries dissertation and thesis applications for creating high-quality computer imagery using the Pixar RenderMan Interface.This Ubuntu package really is something. Thanks.
