Aqsis 1.7.0, our current development release, is now available to Fedora, Mandriva, openSUSE and Debian/Ubuntu users through the Novell Build Service.

Instructions on how to add this repository to your system can be found on the Build Service site, allowing automated/simplified notification on package updates and new versions.

After many months of effort from the team and community, Aqsis 1.6.0 is now available for download!

The official press release is attached, feel free to use this in any public announcements.

We are now officially in phase 3 of the release process for 1.6. This is the final stretch, around 2 more weeks to complete only bug fixes, the we release.

The status of the 1.5 builds on the downloads site can be considered feature stable now, nothing significant is going to change apart from bug fixes between now and the release.

Aqsis 1.5, our current development release, is now available to Ubuntu users though Launchpad.
