Aqsis 1.4 release has just reached 'Phase3'!
The codebase is now frozen to anything but bug fixes. This is the final stage before release, it should last a couple of weeks at the most depending on the amount of testing it gets and what bugs get reported.

Aqsis 1.4 release has just reached 'Phase2'!
The codebase is now frozen to feature changes, only bug fixes and changes/improvements to functionality that don't change the way things work will be allowed. So any content generated against 1.3 from here on in will work unchanged on 1.4.

Some things are worth waiting for and, despite being a couple of days late, the new Aqsis 1.4 release has just reached 'Phase 1'!

After quite some time (far too long if I'm being honest) we're finally ready to release the next stable version of Aqsis.
Release 1.4 will include, among many changes, the inclusion of our new display device piqsl, a completely revamped texture handling system, with dramatic improvements to texture mapping quality and speed, and various other changes to improve performance, quality and stability.
